The Farmstead Cottage is steps away from the magical, ever-flowing Brigid Spring, and has electricity and a comfy queen-size bed. The cottage is located in the heart of the farmstead, yet still maintains a feeling of privacy. You'll probably see our flock of laying hens free-ranging in the orchard. The charming pine cabin (built from trees harvested onsite) features a private outhouse and outdoor shower. There's a screened-in outdoor kitchen and a stone fire pit. Other digital-free amenities include books, cribbage, and board games.

"We HIGHLY recommend this stay for anyone who likes to eat, relax, and unplug their minds for a bit...definitely the reset that we both needed.” -B&L, South Portland, Maine

Beautiful Lake Annasagunticook is located just over a mile from Brigid Spring and has a public beach with amazing swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding.

The Neighborhood

In decades past, Brigid Spring’s neighborhood was home to a trio of now-defunct all-inclusive summer resorts. These days, we carry on the tradition of "western Maine foothills hospitality" with our private cozy cabin glamping, farmstead elopements and micro weddings. There’s a sweet little public beach, just over a mile from camp, with some of the best lake swimming anywhere. The cabins are within walking distance of a mountain trail to a rocky peak with beautiful panoramas. Although the pinnacle is 1,700 feet above sea level, it's not too strenuous of a climb. Take a bike ride on unbusy dirt roads, winding through the sparsely populated (by humans) neighborhood, surrounded by mountains brimming with wildlife. Or you could spend just hang out at Brigid Spring, reading, napping, feasting, playing games, enjoying the campfire or listening to the wind whispering through the tall pines and mighty oaks.
