INQUIRE

Brigid Spring's elopements and micro weddings are for people who want their special day to be relaxed, rustic, intimate, nature-filled, affordable and simple.

Connect with nature and each other.

Nestled among whispering pines and sturdy oaks in the foothills of western Maine, Brigid Spring is a 22-acre farmstead with lush gardens and wildflower meadows, where goats browse, pigs root and chickens forage. It's a super chill and private spot for nuptials.

At Brigid Spring, your wedding adventure can take a variety of non-traditional paths, from a one-night elopement getaway to a weekend micro wedding, with up to 24 of your closest friends and family.

There are a variety of farmstead locales to hold your ceremony. The flower and medicinal herb garden is a gorgeous backdrop, where you'll be surrounded by colorful blossoms and healing plants. The cannabis grove is magical, especially in late August and September, when the plants are flowering. Or for a true adventure wedding, you can tie the knot in the goat pasture, accompanied by our friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats. In case of rain, our high tunnel greenhouse is a perfect spot to stay dry and still be surrounded by botanicals.

Lodging

The charming farm cottage is steps away from the ever-flowing Brigid Spring, and has electricity and a queen-size bed, with views of our orchard and a new pasture that'll have pigs rooting around in it during the summer of 2025. Its location is also adjacent to the field where a larger reception can take place.

The other lodging option is Brigid Spring’s private off-grid pine cabin with comfy queen bed, located among the trees, about 500 feet from the farmstead.

Glampsites feature stone fire pits and fully equipped outdoor kitchens with gas grills. Both spots also have outhouses with outdoor solar showers.

Other amenities include books, cribbage, puzzles, board games and hammock. Firewood, spring water and organic flower pre-rolls are complimentary.

Secluded walking trails wind through the woods to giant pines and glacial erratics, where you may encounter deer, grouse and other critters. But no other humans.

There are other great Airbnb rentals in the area for additional wedding attendees.

The Neighborhood

In decades past, Brigid Spring’s neighborhood was home to three all-inclusive summer resorts. We carry on the tradition of foothills hospitality as western Maine's only farmstead elopement and micro wedding venue, with optional cozy cabin glamping. There’s a sweet little public beach, just over a mile from camp, with some of the best lake swimming around. The glampsite is within walking distance of a mountain trail to a rocky peak with beautiful panoramas. It’s not too strenuous, though the pinnacle is 1,700 feet above sea level. There’s a hilly bike ride on dirt roads through the sparsely populated (by humans) neighborhood, brimming with wildlife. Or you may just want to chill at Brigid Spring, reading (and napping) in the hammock,  playing board games, or just listening to the wind through trees.
