About Brigid Spring
Named for a magical, rock-lined, ever-flowing spring on the land, and the Irish Goddess & Saint, Brigid Spring is a western Maine farmstead of forest and meadows, home to a herd of five Nigerian Dwarf goats, three pigs and 14 laying hens. In the herb garden you'll find over two dozen different medicinal plants. Veggie gardens are abundant with organic produce. The elderberry orchard is a favorite spot for wild birds, including indigo buntings, bluebirds and other lovely feathered friends. Brigid Spring's basketry willow beds are home to a plethora of fauna and beautiful to behold swaying in the breeze. The ganja patch is magical, especially when in flower. Old stone walls run through the mixed hard and softwood forest. Plentiful wildflowers attract a myriad of pollinators. Brigid Spring is an idyllic place to disconnect from technology and the outside world, tuning into nature and the people you love.
